Dr. Jordan Zabriskie, DC
Born and raised in Arlington, Virginia outside of Washington, D.C., “Dr. Z” has been an athlete his entire life. His passion for sports and nutrition is an integral part of his health care and wellness practice. Dr. Z’s ultimate dream of working in a facility with multiple disciplines under one roof has been realized upon joining Advanced Fitness & Therapy. His mission: “To treat patients as you would your own family; creating the most effective means of analysis, care and treatment, specifically designed for each patient.”
Dr. Z suffered a severe spinal injury while an undergrad that would forever change his life and career choice. It was a chiropractor that helped to transform his outlook on health care and alleviated his pain. He has taken that experience to fuel his ambition to help others, as he once was. A large step toward this goal was the co-development of Dynamic Spinal Decompression (DSD), a technique to aid in the healing and repairs of bulging, herniated, and protruding discs.
Dr. Z graduated Magna Cum Laude with a cumulative 3.9 average from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in 2007. Prior to that he graduated Cum Laude from University of Florida Gainesville, FL with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences.
His special training includes:
- Activator 1 Protocol from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida
- Cox Flexion/Distraction Protocol from Palmer College of
Chiropractic Florida
- Sacro-Occipital Technique Protocol from Palmer College of
Chiropractic Florida
- Graston Technique Protocol from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida
